FAQ
1. If I have a bid or offer posted on the EPTC Website, will I be informed when other bids or offers are entered ? No. You are solely responsible for monitoring the Website for changes.
2. Is there a procedure for showing share offerings to all bidders? Sellers are offered the OPTION as to how widely they want their offers "shopped". They may choose simply to sell to the high bidder (the most popular this year), or they can have their offering shown to any or all bidders as they choose. In other words, if you are not the high bidder you may not see the offering. Buyers have a similar OPTION on the other side.
3. What is the EPTC role here in the trading procedure? EPTC's role is strictly clerical. EPTC will supply appropriate financial statements, enter bids and asks on the Website and then follow instructions issued by buyers and sellers. EPTC does not give investment advice nor does it serve as a "broker" for either side of a transaction. When a trade is reached, EPTC will confirm to both parties.
4. How are trades settled? Buyer sends his check, made payable to the seller, to EPTC Treasurer. EPTC forwards that check to the seller and provides written confirmation of the trade to both parties. Trades will generally settle within one week unless buyer and seller have agreed to different terms.
